Alana De La Garza has gained a following on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza moved to Texas in pursuit of an occupation as physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida in Orlando where she performed many acting roles. The roles included local independent films and international commercials. Despite her small roles, De La Garza quickly realized her love for acting. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap opera, playing Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000, she acted smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first series-wide role on the drama short-lived The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi.
